CIVIS3i Alliance Programme for International, Interdisciplinary, Intersectoral Research and Training for Experienced Researchers
The CIVIS3i Programme is a comprehensive postdoctoral programme providing excellent experienced (postdoctoral) researchers the opportunity to conduct frontier research and receive diversified training in an environment of scientific excellence and state-of-the-art facilities, under the supervision of renowned academics and with the support of an extensive collaboration network of academic and non-academic institutions. CIVIS3i proposes two calls within a five-year programme, integrating interdisciplinarity and intersectorality in research, as well as skills to work on an international environment. CIVIS3i is funded in part by the Alliance Universities and in part by the European Commission through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND Programme. Candidates are invited to check the CIVIS3i website for more information about the CIVIS3i programme and the guidelines for application.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to contact their potential supervisor before application in order to discuss the research project. For each call, CIVIS3i will fund 16 excellent researchers for a research project of a 24-months duration, reaching a total of 32 fellowship positions over five years.
